In deze opleiding word je een expert in het begeleiden van kinderen, volwassenen en ouderen met fysieke, psychische of cognitieve problemen om zo hun zelfstandigheid en levenskwaliteit te verhogen. Voor iedereen een kwaliteitsvol leven: dat wordt je doel.
Career opportunities
Met deze opleiding kan je heel wat kanten uit. Als ergotherapeut werk je met kinderen, volwassenen en ouderen met fysieke, psychische of cognitieve problemen. Ook met nieuwere doelgroepen zoals vluchtelingen en gedetineerden gaat een ergotherapeut aan de slag. En dit alles in ziekenhuizen, voorzieningen voor ouderen, de thuiszorg, centra voor ambulante revalidatie, multifunctionele centra, psychiatrische centra, scholen of beschutte woonvormen. Vast staat dat je als afgestudeerde ergotherapeut breed inzetbaar bent en vlot de weg vindt naar de arbeidsmarkt.
